PLR Content
PLR Products
You have an ebook to write. You are sitting in front of your computer screen. It’s blank and so is your brain. What are you doing to write about?

PLR Content

I have a good suggestion for you. Make use of PLR products. I have found good quality PLR on my hard drive. You might also have some on your computer, gathering dust.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, PLR is content that you get from the original author along with their permission to use it as your own. PLR rights are private label license rights to use their content. You buy the PLR content with the rights to use it.

You can get a great report, put your name on it and have your  own product to sell or give away! Don’t be afraid to re-purpose your content. There are a variety of ways to do so.

When searching for PLR content to use, I found there were a lot of different types of sites available. A variety of products  such as PLR ebooks and PLR articles. Some offered monthly memberships and others offered just one time purchases. So be sure to look around before you decide where to buy. Just Google PLR and you will see many types of PLR.

See if they have anything that you can use in your business.  There just may be an ebook or audio recording that you could  quickly brand with your own information and start selling to your list. Make your PLR content shareable. Ask people to like and share it. Reply to comments on your blog. Have social media icons on post pages for social sharing.

8 Different Ways to Use PLR – Private Label Rights. Some people just use PLR content as it is. That’s not really a good idea. It’s just a smart idea to change the title page or the  graphics and make it your own product.

Integrate content creation into your social media
Use bits for Tweets, chunks for Facebook posts, break up content for blog articles, even pictures for Instagram.

How to Use PLR content
#1 You MUST read the terms of the PLR license. If you are still not abundantly clear about the rights ask the author. Never assume.

#2 Always always rewrite. Sometimes you don’t have to do much, but then… there are times when you almost rewrite the entire content. You are the author of the work so make sure it’s your best effort.

#3 This is most often done, but it’s very effective. Chop up the content into smaller articles for blog posts or what ever you choose.

#4 Use PLR content to create ebooks
Create a high-ticket coaching program or online e-class teaching around your PLR articles that makes the content instantly greater value. Offer a series of lessons that are related by email.

To make it even more valuable …If you are charging $500 or more for a class you need to beef up your content. Offering  comprehensive step-by-step lessons that show your clients EXACTLY what to do. You can rewrite the content yourself or hire someone competent to do it for you.

Offer a Coaching program If you offer coaching online as a part of your course for the e-class, you will be able to charge much more than you could with just a written e-course.

Coaching could be done via a teleseminar using the PLR content as the basis of the calls. A pack of articles on the topic or a comprehensive ebook can easily be turned into an interview style article or a webinar.

To add even more perceived value to your high-ticket eclass you can also use PLR content to

Create a special membership site with valuable materials.
Offer instructional videos to go along with the regular content. For example, a slideshow-style with screenshots to show your online marketing class – such as how to set up your first blog.

#5 Create a 10 Part Email Mini Course
Use your PLR content to create a short free auto-responder course. You can use this course as a means to joining your mail  list. It’s called a lead magnet or a freebie as an e-book.

Advantages of giving your prospective clients an e-course are:

  • It gives a must higher perceived value than a regular ebook.
  • It gets your prospect in the habit of reading your emails and getting to know you at the same time.
  • At the end of each lesson let them know what’s coming next, to build anticipation for the next lesson.

You make money as you use the PLR course to promote specific offers….

#6 Offer Bonuses to exisiting customers with surprise bonuses.
The secret to having loyal customers, they send you  repeat business and they also recommend you to their friends! Under promise and over deliver. How much can you promote?
Give, Give, Give, Promote.  The 20 – 80 rule. Be known for your generosity.

A great way to do that is by offering an unannounced bonus after a sale. You can quickly create your bonuses using rewritten PLR content.

If you deliver a bonus right away you can slash refunds that might otherwise have  come in the first day or two after the sale. If you continue dripping these surprise bonuses, beyond the refund period, you will further reduce refunds and create happy customers. Be consistent with your surprises!

# 7 Create a Giveaway Product
My last suggestion for you to use your PLR content is to  rewrite it and then turn it into a giveaway product that other
marketers can use as a bonus for their paying customers. You can  give this product away freely to other marketers to trade bonus products with them or sell the giveaway right to the product.

Bonus Tip – Create a giveaway product for list owners to give away to their new subscribers. You put your links in the product so you make backend income. It’s a free gift but it spreads your own links like wildfire online.

In Conclusion
Now you know the top ways to use the PLR, buying it or using
what’s sitting on your hard drive and make money by getting
more mileage out of all your content. You should have all kinds
of ideas on what to write and do it much faster with PLR products. No more blank brain!
